Terms of Sales
WOCAN LOCATION
General Rental and Sales Terms and Conditions
1 Service provider and scope
These terms govern the rental of winter sports equipment from WOCAN LOCATION, 504 avenue de la Gare, 73210 Landry, France, either directly or through a partner.
SARL WOCAN LOCATION, SIREN: 981 384 993, SIRET: 981 384 993 00037, NAF code: 77.21Z.
Contact: info@wocanlocation.com - +33 4 28 67 71 93. Website: https://wocanlocation.com.
The partner may manage the booking and payment on behalf of WOCAN LOCATION. WOCAN LOCATION remains the rental service provider. The identity of the partner concerned is stated in the booking confirmation.
2 Booking and customer information
The booking is confirmed in writing, specifying the requested equipment, dates of use, accommodation, delivery and collection arrangements, total price and payment terms. These terms are provided and accepted before confirmation, and a copy is sent to the customer in a format they can keep.
The customer provides the information needed to prepare and adjust the equipment, including their height, weight, skill level and information about their boots. They must promptly report any errors or changes. Each item of equipment is prepared for its user and must not be lent to another person without inspection and adjustment by WOCAN LOCATION.
3 Prices and payment
The total price, including any taxes and fees, is provided before confirmation. The customer pays 100% of the price online when booking or upon delivery, depending on the option selected.
For bookings where payment is handled by a partner, the partner collects the rental fee on behalf of WOCAN LOCATION. The customer does not have to pay a second time for a service already paid for to the partner. Any cancellation or modification request affecting the amount paid, as well as any refund request, must be sent to the partner through whom payment was made. This partner handles the refund in accordance with these terms. WOCAN LOCATION remains available for questions relating to the equipment and the rental service.
No additional charge will be applied without prior notice of its amount and the customer's consent. The terms and price applicable to a confirmed booking will not be changed unilaterally.
4 Cancellation, withdrawal and modifications
For reservations made remotely, WOCAN LOCATION grants the customer a 14-calendar-day withdrawal period from the date the contract is concluded, as evidenced by the reservation confirmation. The customer may exercise this right without having to justify their decision by sending a clear statement to info@wocanlocation.com or by post to WOCAN LOCATION, 504 avenue de la Gare, 73210 Landry. The customer may use the form in the appendix, but is not required to do so. If the partner collected the payment, the customer may send their request to that partner; a request sent directly to WOCAN LOCATION remains valid and will be forwarded to the partner for processing the refund.
Exercising this right within the specified period entitles the customer to a full refund of the amounts paid for the rental within seven calendar days of receipt of the request, using the same payment method unless the customer expressly agrees to another method at no charge. The no-refund rule for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance does not apply to this withdrawal. This option is expressly granted by WOCAN LOCATION, regardless of whether the rental is legally classified as a leisure activity booked for specific dates.
The following commercial cancellation rules apply in addition to this right.
Any cancellation received at least 48 hours before the confirmed delivery time entitles the customer to a full refund of the amounts paid for the rental. Times are given in French local time. The refund is issued within seven calendar days of receipt of an eligible request, by WOCAN LOCATION or by the partner that collected the payment.
If cancellation is received less than 48 hours before this time, or if the customer does not show up, no commercial refund will be granted and 100% of the rental price remains due. This rule applies to cancellations initiated by the customer and does not affect the customer's statutory rights, particularly when a right of withdrawal applies or in the event of a failure by WOCAN LOCATION to meet its obligations.
For a reservation paid directly to WOCAN LOCATION, the request must be sent to info@wocanlocation.com. For a reservation processed by a partner, it must be sent to that partner. The customer should keep proof that the request was sent.
Any change is subject to availability and written confirmation. Any effect it may have on the price is communicated before the customer agrees.
5 Delivery, collection, and store
The equipment is delivered to and collected from the accommodation stated in the reservation, at the confirmed times. Deliveries may be offered between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.; this time range does not guarantee availability at every hour.
The customer reports any delay or change of address to allow the delivery to be reorganized. The usage dates used to calculate the price and the handover and collection appointments are specified in the confirmation.
Customers may also visit the store during opening hours, without an appointment, to collect, return, or exchange equipment. Exchanges are subject to equipment availability. Delivery hours at the resort differ from store hours.

6 Use, maintenance, and exchanges
WOCAN LOCATION provides equipment that is maintained, prepared, and adjusted for its user. The customer must report any problem immediately and stop using any equipment with a defect that could compromise their safety. Normal wear is not charged.
Up to three exchanges are included for a seven-day rental period for the entire group of customers delivered as part of the same booking, subject to availability. An exchange made at the same time for several people in the group counts as one exchange. This limit applies to the group, not to each person.
After the three exchanges, WOCAN LOCATION may continue to offer free exchanges or charge an extra fee, the amount of which must be communicated and accepted before the exchange. Exchanges required to correct an equipment defect or a WOCAN LOCATION preparation error are free and do not count toward the limit.
For an upgrade, the price difference for the remaining rental period is payable as an extra. It will be communicated and accepted before the exchange. Any rental extension is subject to availability and agreement on its price.
7 Contractual guarantee covering loss, breakage, and theft
A contractual guarantee covering loss, breakage, and theft is included in the rental price and provided directly by WOCAN LOCATION. It is not an insurance policy taken out with a third-party insurer.
In the event of loss, breakage, or theft of rental equipment covered by this guarantee, the amount payable by the customer is limited to the applicable deductible below, instead of the replacement value of the equipment. Normal wear and defects attributable to WOCAN LOCATION are not subject to a deductible. Deductibles are maximum amounts. For partial breakage, the amount charged is limited to the documented repair cost if it is lower than the maximum. In the event of loss, theft, or equipment that cannot be repaired, the amount charged will not exceed either this maximum or the documented value of the equipment concerned, taking its age and condition into account. This rule also applies to a single ski or a binding alone; the full deductible is not charged automatically.

The customer must inform WOCAN LOCATION as soon as they notice any loss, breakage, or theft. In the event of theft, they must file a report with the police or gendarmerie and provide proof that the report was filed. Damaged equipment must be returned so it can be inspected. The coverage does not cover bodily injury or the customer's liability to third parties.
8 Returns and liability
The customer must return WOCAN LOCATION equipment on the agreed date. Equipment belonging to another rental provider is not a substitute for the rented equipment. Any failure to return equipment or mix-up involving equipment will be reviewed under the provisions relating to loss and theft and the applicable coverage.
WOCAN LOCATION remains responsible for its obligations to prepare and adjust the equipment and provide the service under the conditions set by law. These terms do not exclude the consumer's legal rights. If WOCAN LOCATION cannot provide the agreed service, it will inform the customer and refund the amounts corresponding to the service not provided, without prejudice to the customer's other legal rights.
9 Complaints and mediation
Any complaint relating to the service may be sent to info@wocanlocation.com or by mail to WOCAN LOCATION, 504 avenue de la Gare, 73210 Landry. Requests for refunds of payments collected by a partner must be sent to that partner, without preventing the customer from contacting WOCAN LOCATION about their complaint.
After first submitting a written complaint that remains unresolved, the consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge under the conditions set by law. Designated mediator: Médiation Solution, 222 chemin de la Bergerie, 01800 Saint Jean de Niost, France. Website: https://sasmediationsolution-conso.fr. Resorting to mediation does not prevent the consumer from bringing a case before a competent court.
10 Personal data and applicable version
Data required for the booking and equipment preparation is processed to provide the service. Information about this processing and the exercise of your rights is set out in the privacy policy available on the website. Promotional communications are separate from messages necessary for the rental.
The version of the terms accepted at the time of booking applies to that booking. The French and English versions must set out the same commitments. French law applies, subject to the mandatory protections available to consumers, particularly regarding applicable law and jurisdiction.
